I have 18 years of experience in teaching and school administration. After four years of teaching in Singapore, I decided to explore opportunities in international education. After having short teaching stints in the USA and Australia, I finally ended up in Indonesia. Teaching sociology, English and General Paper kept me young but it was offset by my roles as vice-principal and principal. I enjoy the nuts and bolts of teaching and being engaged with the children and at the same time look forward to the challenges in developing, coaching and motivating teachers. I especially enjoy the challenge of developing curriculum and personnel for schools that want to have an integrated curriculum of both the Cambridge Assessments and International Education and the curriculum of the Indonesian education ministry. I also enjoy coaching soccer for the students. The excitement of getting teachers to be better at their craft drives me and to see them motivate their students and get them to be confident are sufficient reasons for me to see me doing this for a life time.
